Croquis Cafe now providing 360 life model views
The Croquis Cafe, an already great free resource for figurative artists and life models, has recently rolled out 360 views of life model poses. Nude models in artistic poses are videotaped on a stand that is rotated to show the model from several angles.

New ArtModels360.com internet service launched
A brand new website has just been launched called ArtModels360.com . Designed for painters and sculptures, it provides 360 degree views of artist model poses. There is a good diversity of body types, ages, and clothed vs nude.
The navigation is intuitive, the poses are interesting, and the 360 views provide a nice variety of shading. And models can get some ideas for interesting poses from the site.
The site will be launched in July, but the site creator seems willing to provide an advance membership to anyone who contributes a minimum initial Kickstart pledge, as explained on the website. They also have a Facebook page.
I’m not getting anything from this site for promoting it. I just think it’s a neat opportunity to share about a new resource for figurative artists and models.

The photographs of artist models suspended in mid-air provide examples of model poses that cannot easily be provided in a live drawing session. They provide a unique resource for anatomical studies.
The side-by-side photographs of artist models as they are dressed and nude allow figurative artists to see how to translate an understanding of the nude body to effectively draw the clothed model.

Yet there are surprisingly few resources on the internet for those who serve as art models or those who are considering breaking into art modeling.
ArtModelTips.com is dedicated to be a full service resource for art models. This website will let you know what it takes to be an artist model, how to become one, where you are needed, and what to watch out for.
Art models and figure drawing artists exist in a symbotic relationship. Without models, figure drawing is impossible. Without artists, models have no purpose. And to be a good model, you need to know what your customers — the artists — need from you. For that reason, ArtModelTips.com also plans to provide educational resources to artists in the coming weeks and months.
